RedPanda Travels ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and provides private car rental and travel planning services in Northeast India (Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh). We are based in Guwahati, Assam.

- Trip details: destination, duration, number of passengers, vehicle preference (when you use the estimate or contact form)

- Respond to your enquiries and send trip estimates
- Send confirmation emails when you submit a form
- Contact you about your rental by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email, on the phone number you give us for that

3a. Chat assistant (Redpanda)
Our website may offer a chat assistant, Redpanda, which is an AI. Your messages are sent to Google's Gemini service to produce answers. Please don't share ID numbers, licence numbers, payment details or passwords in the chat.
We may save chats, with phone numbers and email addresses hidden, for up to 90 days so we can see which questions were not answered well and improve the answers. If you choose to send an enquiry from the chat, the details you confirm are sent to our team like any other enquiry.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics and similar tools to understand how visitors use our site. We may also use cookies for essential site functionality. You can control cookie preferences in your browser. Our site may also use scripts for Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity for marketing and usability analysis. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics starts with analytics cookies switched off, so those visits are measured without them. We take care not to send names, phone numbers or email addresses to Google Analytics.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third parties to run our business: Brevo for sending emails (enquiry confirmations, notifications and our newsletter) and for keeping the newsletter list, and a database provider for storing enquiry and estimate data. These providers process data in line with their own privacy policies and our instructions.

We keep your data only as long as needed to serve your enquiry and for legitimate business or legal purposes. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
