No age limit — you just need to hold a valid driving license (original + photocopy) for the vehicle category booked.

The vehicle is handed over with a full tank. We don't take a security deposit on the vehicle — instead, we collect a deposit covering the cost of that full tank of fuel, which is settled when the vehicle is returned.

Visiting from abroad? You can rent any of our vehicles. Bring your passport with a valid Indian visa, your home driving licence, and an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your own country in the 1949 Geneva Convention format, covering the vehicle you're renting (motorcycles for a bike or scooter). Indian law doesn't accept a foreign licence on its own. You can pay in cash (rupees) or by international UPI.

Yes, every bike and scooter comes with a helmet at no extra cost. Loss of or damage to a helmet is charged, like any other damage.

Take any of our rentals across Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Indian visitors, and we help you apply for it. Visitors from abroad need a Protected Area Permit (PAP) for those two states instead; we can help arrange it on request.

Fair-use limit of 300 km/day. Extra distance billed at ₹8/km for cars and ₹3/km for bikes/scooters.

Pickup and drop at our Guwahati location in Maligaon, from 7 AM. On request, we can also hand over and collect the vehicle at Guwahati airport for an extra fee. We're in Maligaon, about 2 km from Kamakhya railway station and 12 km from Guwahati airport.

Your rental runs from the start date to the agreed return date and time written on your agreement, counted by calendar day. Need the vehicle early in the morning? Pick it up the night before at no extra cost — your rental still starts the next day.

Return the vehicle by the agreed return date and time. Returning late is charged for every hour or part of an hour: ₹90/hr for bikes and scooters, and ₹250/hr for cars. Running late? Tell us before the agreed time and you get a 1-hour grace period. Want to keep the vehicle longer? Tell us before your agreed return time — extra days are charged at the normal daily rent, subject to availability and our confirmation. Without prior notice, late-return charges apply.

The vehicle is your responsibility from pickup until it's back with us. We check it when you return it: any new damage that wasn't noted at pickup, from an accident or otherwise, is charged to you in full at RedPanda Travels' estimate of the repair cost. Damage is settled at that check, so if none is found, we won't come back to you about damage later. Loss of or damage to helmets, keys or vehicle documents is also charged. Traffic challans and fines from your rental period are yours to pay, including any that reach us after the return. If the vehicle breaks down, call us as soon as you can: we have local mechanics and pickup trucks we can arrange, but it can take time. If the breakdown is caused by rider abuse, such as a burnt clutch from riding the half-clutch uphill, riding on a flat tyre or off-road damage, the towing and repair costs are fully yours. These are payable separately from the fuel deposit. The vehicle must never be used for anything illegal; the renter alone is answerable for it, not RedPanda Travels.

Renting for 7 days or more? You get 10% off the daily rent, for a week, a month or longer.
