People ask us this all the time. XPulse 210 or Scram 440, which one for Northeast roads?
Short answer: solo and chasing dirt and tough trails, take the XPulse 210. With a pillion, heavy luggage, or a mix of highway and bad roads, take the Scram 440.

The XPulse 210: the lighter, tougher one
It's a proper dual-sport. The 21-inch front wheel rolls over rocks easily, and it's the lighter of the two. For a solo rider who wants hardcore off-road riding, it's the better tool.
The downsides:
- The seat is narrow.
- It's tall for short riders.
- It lacks the low-end torque for two-up riding on steep hills.
The Scram 440: the planted one
It's heavier, but that makes it feel more planted on the highway. The 443cc engine has a lot of low-end torque, so it pulls well on hills without much gear changing.
It's far better if you have a pillion or heavy luggage, and the wider seat is much better over long days. The 19-inch front wheel still handles bad roads fine.
So which one?
- Solo, chasing dirt and tough trails: XPulse 210.
- A pillion, heavy luggage, or highway comfort mixed with bad roads: Scram 440.
- Short rider: try the seat height of both at pickup if you're unsure.
- Saving money: the XPulse is cheaper per day, at ₹1,699 against ₹1,999.
