The Hero XPulse 210 is the adventure bike for riders who'd rather not handle a heavy one. This is what it is, who it suits and what renting it involves. Price and booking are on the Hero XPulse 210 page, and the rest of the range is under adventure bikes on rent in Guwahati.

What it is

Hero's 210cc adventure bike: a liquid-cooled single with a 6-speed gearbox and ABS. It has long-travel suspension, a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, both spoked. It seats two.

Who it suits

  • Broken roads. It's light enough to handle on a broken village road, and has the power for long climbs.
  • Meghalaya's back roads, Ziro and Tawang. Ziro is about 400 km and Tawang about 480 km, and each is best split over two days. Both need an Arunachal Pradesh Inner Line Permit (ILP), and we help you apply. See the Ziro route guide and the Tawang route guide.
  • Riders who want a middle ground. More power than a commuter, less weight than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

Who should pick another bike

The Hero XPulse 200 4V is a little lighter and simpler, and fine for Meghalaya and shorter trips. For two-up with luggage on long days, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is built for it. Royal Enfield Scram 440 vs Hero XPulse 210 compares the XPulse with the Royal Enfield scrambler.

Riding it on rough roads

That's what it's made for: the long-travel suspension and the 21-inch front wheel handle broken tarmac, gravel and village tracks. Ride within your experience. As with any rental, damage is charged at the return check.

What renting it involves

One day₹1,699
A week₹10,704 (10% off for 7 days or more)
Distance included300 km a day

Pickup is at Maligaon, 2 km from Kamakhya station. The rider's helmet is included; ask for a pillion helmet when you book. We don't take a security deposit on the vehicle. Instead we collect a deposit covering a full tank of fuel, and settle it when you return the bike. For more bikes see bike rental in Guwahati.

FAQs

Hero XPulse 210 or Hero XPulse 200 4V: which should I rent? The 210 (₹1,699/day) has a liquid-cooled engine and six gears, so it's easier on long highway stretches and steep climbs. The 200 (₹1,499/day) is a little lighter and simpler, and fine for Meghalaya and shorter trips.

Can I take it on rough roads? Yes. The long-travel suspension and 21-inch front wheel handle broken tarmac, gravel and village tracks. Ride within your experience, since damage is charged at the return check.

Can I ride it to Ziro or Tawang? Yes. Both need an Arunachal Pradesh ILP, which we help you apply for. Each is best split over two days.

How much is it for a week? ₹10,704 for 7 days with the long-rental discount.

The information in this post is indicative. Final terms and policies are discussed and confirmed when you take the vehicle on rent.
