- Kaziranga National Park: 220+ km on flat highway, 4 to 5 hours. For the safari, you switch to the park's own jeeps at the gate.
- Nagaon: about 120 km from Guwahati on the road to Kaziranga. The Maha Mrityunjay Temple is in the Nagaon area.
- Manas National Park: about 170 km, 4 to 5 hours, by NH31 to Barpeta Road and then about 22 km to the Bansbari entry. Ask the park about entry and safaris before you go.
- Majuli: 300+ km, then a ferry. About 6 hours to Neamati Ghat, then a 1-hour ferry.
- Umrangso, in Dima Hasao: roughly 300 to 330 km, 7 to 8 hours. Check the road and what you can visit there before you go.
- Sivasagar: about 350 km from Guwahati, a full day. Plan a night on the way.

Do I need a permit to drive in Assam?
No Inner Line Permit is needed for Assam. Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland need one, and we help you apply for it.
Where do I pick the vehicle up?
At our place in Maligaon, Guwahati. If you'd like to be collected from Kamakhya station or have it brought to you, ask us: in some cases we can, for a fee agreed case by case.
How many kilometres can I drive a day?
300 km a day. Beyond that, ₹8 a km for the car and ₹3 a km for bikes and scooters.
What documents do I need to rent a vehicle?
The documents are listed in our rental terms. Everyone needs them, whichever vehicle you rent.
Can I rent for a week or a month?
Yes. Rentals of 7 days or more get 10% off the daily rent. The weekly and monthly page has the totals.
Is there a deposit?
A deposit for the fuel only, settled when you return. There is no security deposit on the vehicle.
